BoyleSports Interview Process - Senior Fullstack Engineer

I have applied to their job post on LinkedIn, got a web assesment test. It was a set of a couple choice questions, and timed coding test. I would rate it junior level, nothing complex, just basics of javascript and react. Short quiz was regarding javascript and typescript questions, type coercion, log sequencing with promises and timers, basic typescript syntax questions.

Javascript coding task was related to some array manipulation to show knowledge of functions like map, reduce, sort, filter. You had to implement predefined functions of an object which is a helper util class. While react one was related to implement a component with its children components and show usage of custom hooks and react hooks. You get api that you import and connect to your components, aimed to show knowledge of useState, list rendering, filtering.

After that got a phone call from recruiter and a tech interview with future team lead and manager. Combination of HR and tech in one. It was just verbal, talking about work experience, projects, their plans, how would you fit in with your experience. Very pleasant and promising. Team is newly formed. Additional experience in Strapi, Node.js was inquired about and were a plus. Also discussed about previous projects in Nextjs, which tools were used and why. From the HR side, nothing much, mostly just introduction to the company, structure and what are their plans.

After that I got a call from hiring manager with an offer.
