Vanguard Junior Engineer: OOP multiple choice, Two Sum and Valid Parentheses, then behavioural and CS fundamentals

The whole interview process was very fast. It was 4 rounds, each one spread out a week apart.

The first round was an online coding challenge. It had a bunch of multiple choice CS questions (OOP principles) and Two Sum and Valid Parentheses DSA questions which were both pretty straightforward.

The next round was a recruiter screen over Zoom. It was very relaxed and asked questions like how I prioritized when I had a lot on my plate, what I knew about Vanguard, and my compensation expectations.

The next round was a virtual interview where I had to respond to behavioral prompts. Some of the questions I remember they asked were why do you want to be a software developer and discuss some times in the past you have worked in a team and projects you have delivered.

The last round was a virtual onsite interview where I was asked more CS fundamental questions like what is a hash map?

Overall I really liked the interview process and it was by far the most relaxed one I have done so far.
